Amos Yee sought asylum in USA since 2016

4 days after Singapore ex Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yee death, for reason unknown to us Amos thought LKY death was a good thing. and he posted a number of videos on YouTube that comparing Lee to Jesus and posting an obscene caricature, led to his first conviction in Singapore.

Amos Yee sought asylum in USA and it was granted. And again, for reason unknown to us, he started to exchange naked photos with a few people - young girls included.

In the end, the US law caught up with him. His USA asylum is mostly spent in jail. ICE is expected to ship Amos back to Singapore. According to the Singapore Ministry of Defense, Amos is likely to face prosecution for avoiding national enlistment - all Singapore males - by law he is expected to serve 2 years of national service - he is likely to serve in Singapore jail for some time.
